What is the Worship Experience like?
The most important aspect of our Worship Experience at Christ Fellowship is having a genuine encounter with God. It is our goal to provide an atmosphere that allows you to do just that. We believe in expressing our love for Jesus Christ, and being a light in a dark world. Our weekly gatherings include powerful music, drama, dance, and media designed to offer a complete interactive experience for your whole family. We see our relationship with Jesus Christ as alive and active, and our worship should be the same way. We recommend you arrive approximately 15 minutes before the service so you won’t feel rushed.
How do I get to Christ Fellowship?
Christ Fellowship is located on the Southside of Indianapolis, between the Southport and Greenwood areas, and across the street from Smock Golf Course. Situated at the corner of East County Line Road and South Sherman Drive, Christ Fellowship is just a little over a a mile from exit 101 on I-65. You’ll find Christ Fellowship is easily accessible from anywhere you call home.
What should I wear?
When attending Christ Fellowship you will see a variety of dress styles from the three button suit to the casual jeans. We truly want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your worship experience.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you walk into our foyer, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our terrific greeting team will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have. You will not be asked to join our church and don’t have to feel obligated to give us any money. We want you to simply enjoy your time here at Christ Fellowship of Indianapolis and make a genuine connection with God.
If you have children, you’ll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children’s services designed just for them.
What are the messages like?
From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God’s truth. At times, we will include video, drama, and other visual illustrations. Pastor Tony Smith communicates in a way that speaks to today’s culture, focusing on how to apply Christ’s teachings to our lives, so we can experience God’s incredible purpose every day. The messages presented are full of God’s Word (the Bible) and will be applicable to your everyday life.
How long is the Worship Experience?
It is our goal to keep our Worship Experience to a reasonable length. On average, they last less than 90 minutes. We value your time and don’t want to keep you longer than needed.
Where do I take my children?
You’ll find first-class programs for your children, from birth–5th Grade. Our First Steps Nursery, located just to your left as you enter the foyer to the Worship Center, offers a warm, colorful and caring environment for your little ones, with activities designed for each stage of development.
Your older children can also experience an encounter with God while attending Elevate Kids. This exciting children’s ministry is designed for ages 4 through 5th grade. You will exit to the right of the foyer and proceed to the E-kids Check-in Station. Our guest services team are available to help with directing you there. You and your child will receive an ID tag for their safety. Please return the tag to retrieve your child following your worship experience. Your girls and boys will experience church like never before, with the latest games, music and video, created to present God’s truth in fun and innovative ways. They won’t want to miss a single E-kids experience.
Do you have something for students?
Absolutely. If you’re a Middle School or High School student, Christ Fellowship is the place to be!
CFI Student Ministries for 6th through 12th graders takes place every Wednesday night from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm in the East Building. The service is packed with an intense time of music, videos, games, a relevant message, and small group discussions. Don’t miss this high-energy time of friends and fun!
